It’s officially here…our annual Readers Choice issue. You voted, we counted, and now we know who and what made the cut! You’ve chosen your faves all over the Boro, and we’re happy to share the list with you here.

We’re shining the spotlight on two of our Readers Choice winners, Most Outstanding Firefighter and Most Outstanding Pediatrician. We know you’ll enjoy reading about them and how they came to choose their careers. We appreciate Chad Rushing and Dr. Cheryl Perkins for all they do in and for our community!

Our cover feature this issue is about a couple of young entrepreneurs and their new business venture, something truly unique in the Boro. Read the story of how their partnership and their product came to be.

We are also featuring a spot on a smiling face you may just recognize — if you’re a coffee drinker, that is. We’ve featured local businessman David Hoyle, owner of Cool Beanz. Check his story out and see what the buzz is all about.

If you’re looking for a unique date night idea, we’ve got you covered. There’s a Firearms Date Night event once a month at GSU, and if you’re into it, you should definitely check out our story first, then sign up to go — you’ll have a great time, we know!

Enjoy this issue, and let us know what you think. We love hearing from you, and love hearing your ideas about what you want to see in the magazine!
