On August 15, The Malpass Brothers, known for their authentic blend of traditional country music, rockabilly rhythms and engaging stage presence, kick off the season’s events. Their concert promises an evening filled with classic melodies and good old-fashioned fun, making it a must-see for country music enthusiasts.
Next, on August 23, the Averitt Center proudly hosts the third annual Blue Knights GA II fundraiser, supporting the Concerns of Police Survivors (COPS) organization. SkynFolks, a Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute band, returns for this special event that unites the community by blending entertainment with heartfelt support for families and friends affected by tragedy in law enforcement.
On August 28, Jimmy Clifton and Baily Hager take the stage to deliver a captivating performance highlighted by their rich vocals and soul-stirring melodies. Audiences can expect an intimate and engaging experience woven with truth and hope, which resonates with fans across the country.
Just added to the events season, on September 26, Jason Petty presents 100 Years of Hank, a vibrant tribute celebrating the 100th birthday of the legendary Hank Williams. Through engaging storytelling and song, Petty masterfully recreates the life and legacy of the iconic country singer, transporting audiences back to the roots of American music.
Wrapping up the exciting lineup on September 27, don’t miss Rogers, Richie & Robinson, a live concert by The Undercovers. The Undercovers are set to energize audiences with their dynamic range and vibrant covers of timeless hits from Kenny Rogers, Lionel Richie and Smokey Robinson.
