Bats and body parts during Halloween week
drac and frank

Come join members of the Statesboro Youth Theater for a frightfully good time as they perform the two-act drama of "Dracula/Frankenstein Jr.," directed by Eddie Frazier. Performances are Oct. 28-30 in the Emma Kelly Theater at 7:30 p.m.

Based on the book by Bram Stoker and adapted by Christopher P. Nichols, this one-act version of the Gothic classic Dracula featuring local actors tells the story of the romantic monster from the Carpathian Mountains.

Murder, mayhem and the macabre are the main ingredients of this one-act version of Frankenstein by John Mattera and Stephen Barrows. Unlike other versions of the famous thriller, this one catches the essence of Mary Shelley's classic and builds to a climax with an unexpected twist.

Call 912-212-2787 for tickets. Come dressed in costume on Oct. 30 for the 6:30 p.m. show and get reduced priced tickets as well as a bag of Halloween goodies.

The performance is sponsored by Georgia Power.
